AUTO-CAD AND INSTALLATIONS OF AUTO-CAD


Auto Cad is the product of Autodesk Company. The founder of Auto Cad was John Walker from California (U.S) 1980. Auto Cad generally use for Civil and Mechanical Engineering work.

Advantage- there  the following two major advantage use of Auto Cad software are-

  • User friendly nature software and very easy to operate.
  • Available free for students through out simple registration.


Profits- software working by just providing commands in various terms. Software use in the field of Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Engineering for drawing purpose of various uses.

Installation Process:- Auto cad available in two kinds of installation.

1- You can Install for students version without any cost.
2- You must to need pay for Installation and getting Activation Key by Autodesk.

If you will Install Auto Cad for student version, there will be some feature are not available may be because its free for general purpose not for professional. you may get this by just simple registration on Autodesk site. But if you want to Install Auto Cad professional than  you have need a "AUTODESK KEY MAKER" of same year version.

Process- Simply click on setup of Auto Cad Software file and wait until it will not finish Installation Process. After complete the Installation press finish button and closed it. Now check your window fire wall and turn off the fire wall protection. Come to back on desktop screen and click the Auto Cad Icon.

After few minutes later it will show to you Activation Button on screen of Auto Cad. Press the Activation Button and Copy from there to given Request Code. Now open the keygon (key maker) and paste the copy request code in  key maker request column and press the generate button. After that you need to press patch button and copy from there Activation code which is just below the request code column. Now back on Auto Cad and select "I have an Activation Code from Autodesk" option. And paste the copy code there and press next button. After press the next button your software showing to you License Activate than press finish. Your Auto Cad is Fully Installed in your Computer. If not, try again the same process until it will not accept the code. but mind the game before Activating you must have turn off your window fire protection.

Basics About Auto Cad- Auto Cad working both 2D and 3D formats. simply work on commands and direction of mouse. This is the most popular software for machine and wire drawings and also the design work like building,roads,dams and many more structural drawings.It is the easiest way to express  of your creation on this earth. there are the some basic commands for  Auto Cad are following-
  • Line = L enter
  • Circle = C enter
  • Rectangle = rec enter
  • Dimension = d enter
  • Copy = co enter
  • Move = mo enter
  • Fillet = f enter
  • Offset = of enter
  • Rotation = ro enter
  • Extend = ex enter enter
  • Trim = tr enter enter
  • Do not = do enter
  • Isometric = is enter
  • Text = t enter
  • Measure = me enter
  • Erase = e enter

After opening Auto Cad set your units first. Give the command un enter and select the scale in which you want to plot a drawing like mm,cm,meter,feet etc. than after give the command d enter and do setting your dimension line as you wish the colors of line, thickness of dimension line and size of dimension text etc. this is the information all about the Installation of Auto Cad and some basic feature of Auto Cad. COMMANDS FOR 2D AUTOCAD

whenever you have installed the Auto Cad, you must have an need to setup the dimensions first.Let's move toward the Auto Cad and open the window, type un and press the enter. you have showing window like this.....  after change the dimensions decimal to engineering and 0'0'' you need press OK.  now you need to type d enter and you see the window like this..... press the modified option and go to primary units and change here the as change above. now go to fit option and change the scale value at least 1:10,due to this your dimensions unit show to you proper size in your drawing.  this was the basic setup of Auto Cad for the drawing in feet,meter,inch,etc. you have change according to your requirements.
